There are many traditional and Internet Radio stations carrying NASCAR programming

Fans of NASCAR racing will be pleased to know that there are a myriad of Radio services available for following the sport.

On XM Satellite Radio, "XM Sports Nation" (XM Channel 144) covers motorsports every day, including a six-hour block of programming called the Engine Block, which airs weekdays from 4 pm to 10 pm ET.

"Jimmie Johnson ... 'Not What You Expected'" is heard at 7 p.m. ET on XM Sports Nation. Each week, the defending Nextel Cup champ delivers his personal perspective on the sport with co-host Marty Smith.

"Dale Jr.'s Unrestricted" airs 7:30 pm ET on XM Sports Nation. Earnhardt and his friends Josh Snider and Steve Cris offer a candid look at what's happening on and off the track each week.

The Final Lap with Kerry Murphey is nationally syndicated show which covers the top 3 divisions of NASCAR racing, Craftsman Truck Series, Busch Series, and the Cup Series. The Final Lap is heard 5 days a week and features daily NASCAR news, stories, interviews, and more.

Motor Racing Network has been around since 1970. It was formed by NASCAR Founder, Bill France, Sr. because of his discontent with the way traditional media outlets were providing coverage at the time. FasTrax is a NASCAR show that airs every Monday night from 6 to 8PM MST on Radio AM 1060 in Longmont, Colorado. This weekly talk show is hosted by "Big Dog" and Jonathan. The program began in June of 2000 and continues to provide entertainment and information to racing enthusiasts.

The Performance Racing Network is home to several programs including "Garage Pass", a daily 5-minute news feature that features the latest NASCAR racing news and information. It is aired on over 450 Radio stations.
